CIMFEST’S AWARDS 1st Edition (Cameroon International Music Festival Excellence Award) took place on the 19th of November 2021, but the competition was launched on the 1st of october 2021 to mid November.
After 1 and half month of voting, yesterday was the end of this competition.
Here are the Winners of the 20 selected categories.
In each category, there were 5 artists in competition.

13- BEST DJ : DJ LABASTILLE PREMIER
14- MOST AFRICAN ARTIST : WIZKID
15- MOST INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED AFRICAN ARTIST : SALIF KEITA
16- CROSS CULTURAL : MOLA MOGOMBE
17- COLLABORATION FOR YOUNG ARTIST DEVELOPMENT : TZY PANCHAK
18- MOVIE SOUNDTRACK : EWUBE
19- REVELATION OF THE YEAR : RINYU
20- FALLEN ICON : MANU DIBANGO, WES MADIKO, LAPIRO DE MBANGA, BEBEY MANGA, NGUEA LA ROUTE
HONORARY : EMIL NGOMBAH
What you should note about CIMFEST’S AWARDS 1st Edition, is that the biggest winners are KO-C and MOLA MOGOMBE who won 2 awards each.
CIMFEST’S AWARDS also honored our Fallen Icons and Mr EMIL NGOMBAH who is the one biggest Producer-Instrumentalist in Cameroon; and pioneer of the 1st studio (M1 STUDIO) in South- West Region.
